 Govt TTI Alappuzha- It is situated at the heart of Alappuzha town opposite to District Collectorate
This institution was established in 1951. For the last 56 years, Govt TTI, Alappuzha was
catering marvelous contributions to the up-liftment of economically backward but bright teacher trainees.
We are getting 100% result every year. Also we proudly announce that our students are achieving very high place
in the academic as well as extra curricular activities. Majority of our passed out students are giving prestigious
service in various government and aided schools. Land Area - 1 Acre 43/750 cents in Sy. No 566/13-2, 566/7, 566/6 of
Alappuzha village, Ambalappuzha taluk, Alappuzha District.
School begins at 9.45 A.M with an open assembly. Assembly starts with a prayer song which is followed by a pledge, news reading
, a short talk giving thought for the day, general quiz of 10 question giving awareness to the current news. There is PT display on all Thursdays and Fridays.
Assembly ends with the National Anthem.
Classes begin at 10 A.M. There are 5 teaching hour, reading time for half an hour and gardening from 4 P.M to 4.30 P.M.
Yearly planning is done at the begining of a school year. Learning activities have given through the strategies of day celebrations, seminars, debates, symposium, study tours, field trips etc.
various topics are dealt by experts in the field. There is teaching practise for 50 days in the second year. 20 days LP level
, 20 days UP level and 10 days for evaluation. Also a compulsory residential camp for 15 days is arranged in the month of April. During camp days, various activities are arranged.
Trainess are getting different social contact programmes during these days.
Various club activities are performed by Social Science club, Science club, Mathematics club Arts, club and Language club.
trainees are divided into five groups and daily work is assigned to them. Personality development programmes, leadership training,
yoga, meditation, field trips, work experience programmes, cultural programmes are some of the items charted during camp days. residential camp is a very useful training for them
. They become self reliant, confident and efficient through this camp.
All National festivals such as Independence day, Onam, Christmas, Republic day and Kerala piravi are celebrated with the respect
and reverence. Sports day, Youth Festival, Science, Mathematics, Art and Work experience fairs etc are conducted by trainees.
A school parliament is formed. A monthly meeting of the school parliament is done for the assesment of the work done.
There is
